5th-8th Grade Campfire Social by the Bay!
5th-8th graders, their families, and their teachers enjoyed a "Campfire Social" on Sunday, August 30 at theEmeryville Marina. The weather was beautiful. Mr. Watanabe and students trained as Boy Scouts prepared and monitored a wonderful bonfire. Everyone had fun roasting hot dogs, sausages, and marshmallows for somores. It was a great way for students to meet all of their teachers in an informal setting, and for the teachers to get to know the students and their families, as well. Ice Cream socials at the school are planned for the 1st-4th grade families on Friday evening, October 2, and for parents of preschool and kindergarten children on Friday evening, October 23.
